A value above 1 shows a relatively important overload of the skeleton, a weakness and a value under 1 shows a strong skeleton with regard to muscles. ➢ BMI: Body Mass Index: Ratio Weight/Height to the square, whereas it is still not representative for persons with lots of muscle mass. ➢ Basal metabolism: Energy consumption at rest: necessary calories for the organism to guarantee its proper functioning. ➢ Energy demand: Basal metabolism + energy consumption during physical effort. ➢ Ratio water intracellular and extracellular (blood circulation -lymphatic and kidneys or sodium-potassium balance). ➢ Hydration rate outside of fats: Allows you to identify water retention. ➢ Whole water volume in the organism. This is measured with an electrode machine, by spreading a constant current with low intensity, which is not felt by the patient. The analysed results of the patient are compared to the reference values and are very reliable.
